One of the most widely printed and quoted statements of business ethics in the world is the Rotary 4-Way Test. It was created by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor in 1932 when he was asked to take charge of a Chicago company facing bankruptcy.

Looking for a way to save the struggling company, Taylor drew up a 24-word code of ethics for all employees to follow in their business and professional lives. The survival of the company was credited to this simple philosophy.

Adopted by Rotary in 1943 the test has been translated into more than 100 languages and published in thousands of ways.

This week we will be hearing 4-Way Test essays from Bixby students.

Thank you for joining us

at the Rotary Club of Bixby.

The Rotary Club of Bixby has members not only from Bixby but much of South Tulsa county. You will be speaking to the top business professionals in the area.

CLICK HERE to get an idea of the quality of our weekly programs. You're not likely to find a better meeting with a finer lunch anywhere in the county.

The information on this page is intended to help you as you plan for speaking at our Rotary Club. You can contact the Rotarian who arranged for your visit if you have any general questions.

The three things that we need from you are:

1. Send a paragraph or two about yourself and a few lines about the subject of your presentation as soon as your date has been booked to: Jim Weems at bixbyrotary@cox.net so that we may promote your speaking engagement on our website.

Please look at our home page to see the type of story we use. Resumes are not helpful. A paragraph or two on you and your topic are what we prefer.

2. Prior to your speaking engagement, send all AV requests to: Jim Weems at bixbyrotary@cox.net. We must have prior notice to have a video projector set up.

Please note: If you are using PowerPoint, it should contain mostly photos. Participants in the back cannot see words on PowerPoint slides smaller than 44-point.

You should also bring your own laptop, tablet or smartphone. You may need a cable or adaptor that will plug into a standard VGA or HDMI input on our projector.
